How to Play Squicky

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the screen with your fingers. on the welcome screen, select the play button to open the level selection screen. Select a level number on the level selection screen to get started. Choose a game language by selecting the flag button on the top right corner of the welcome screen.

Use the keyboard to control the mouse on the desktop. Press the left and right arrows to walk. Press the space bar to jump. Press the up and down arrows to climb stairs. Press the up arrow near the door to enter it.

On a touchscreen device, tap and swipe on the control circle on the bottom left corner from left to right to walk. Tap on the jump button to jump. Tap and swipe on the control circle up and down to climb stairs. Tap and swipe up on the control circle when near the door to enter it.

Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and best score.

Basic Gameplay Advice

The game has 12 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You can replay any of the levels you’ve already beaten.

You have 120 seconds to clear the level. Each level consists of a series of platforms and hazards that you must travel through. Your main goal is to retrieve the silver and gold keys to open the door at the end of the level.

To defeat enemy cats, you must stomp them from above.

Pick up as many coins as you can. Each level has a maximum number of coins you can pick up, grant points to your score. Each coin collected is worth 1 point. Your score is cumulative and is based on both the coins you collect and the number of seconds left on the timer.

You can pick up special items to receive bonuses. Pick up the airplane to fly across the level. Collect the potion to grant you temporary invincibility.

Avoid touching enemies, hitting spikes, or falling off pits. Doing so is an instant game over. You will also fail a level if you run out of time. Each time you fail a level, you have the option of restarting it.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Pay attention to the starting pan of the level and memorize as much of the levels layout as you can. This will help you minimize the time spent collecting items. Repeat the process by carefully scanning each new area you enter as you move across the level.

This game hones a player’s hand-eye coordination and time management skills. Players must move quickly yet efficiently through the level to earn as many points as they can when they reach the end.
