Fruit Flip is a fruit-themed visual logic puzzle game. Each puzzle involves two interchangeable sets of fruit. Connect rows of fruit to flip them into another fruit. Find the right set of paths within the limited number of moves given to make all the fruit identical.

How to Play Fruity Flip

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. Select the play button at the center of the welcome screen to open the level selection screen. Select a level from the level selection screen to begin.

To flip the fruits, select one fruit, then drag the selection around to select adjacent fruits. Fruits can be connected horizontally or vertically but not diagonally. Selected fruits will flip to another type of fruit.

Basic Gameplay Advice

The game has 20 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You can replay any of the levels you’ve already beaten.

Flip the fruits in such a way that the entire board consist of a single type of fruit. There are always 2 types of fruit in the puzzle. Form a path to flip a set of fruits. You only have a limited number of moves to use to flip the fruits, so make each one count. If you run out of moves, you fail the level and must start again.

Highlighted fruits appear from Level 6 onwards. Once flipped, they will flip the fruits around them. Make sure to plan around them when plotting your paths.

Each time you restart a level, the game will swap out the type of fruit involved.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

One of the best ways to figure out the right path to solve the level is by trial and error. You must be prepared to try several paths before solving the puzzle. As the game can be replayed infinite times, this gives you plenty of opportunities to do so.

To speed up the process, try to think outside the box. Often, the direct paths will take too many moves to solve. Choose paths that flip the most fruits in a single move or create situations where otherwise isolated fruits become connected in a continuous block.

Be aware of the highlighted fruits and how they affect the surrounding fruits. With the right move, they can help you solve the level. They can also complicate levels if they’re located in an inconvenient spot, which makes it better to work around them.
