How to Play Sommelier Pour

Press the wooden play button in the center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen. The first time you play the game the first stage shows a tutorial screen.

Press your mouse left click button and drag your mouse across the screen to collect the grapes.

As you advance through the game the stages get taller. You can press the up and down arrows on the right side of the screen from level 5 onward to scroll up and down through the stage.

Basic Gameplay Advice

This game has 16 stages which are unlocked sequentially. Your goal is to dig a path to get the wine to the wine truck while collecting as many of the grapes as you can. Each grape must be hit by 5 wine drops to collect it.

When you get up to stage 12 you have to collect keys by hitting each of them with 3 drops of wine. When a key is collected an associated gate is opened, allowing the wine to continue further down the stage.

Avoid letting your wine fall off platform out of the stage and do not let wine touch the fixed or moving lava bars. You must fill up the truck’s capacity to beat each stage and if you lose too many drops of wine the stage is lost.

Level Scoring

You earn 100 points for each wine drop which makes it to the truck. Each bunch of grapes you collect is worth 300 points. You earn a star for each grape collected.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Some of the grapes are located under an obstacle then up and around. It helps to dig the path in advance from the grape backward, so that falling wine has lots of momentum to reach the grape.

When you are digging near fixed lava bars and other flat areas be sure to have at least a slight slant or grade to the dig so that the wine does not get stuck.

Sometimes it can be helpful to split the wine into multiple groupings so that you do not have to get as much to flow past a moving lava bar. Such split offs also allow you to reach different grapes, or have a the 3 drops get to the key box without wasting too many extra drops on it.
