How to Play Take Care of Me

To select and navigate, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Choose from one of the three available eggs at the startup window. To get started, choose an egg from one of the three shown onscreen. It will instantly hatch.

Your main goal in this game is to care for the fuzzy pet by meeting their needs. Do this by fulfilling their needs and entertaining them by playing minigames. Use the money earned from the games to buy items for your pet.

Other Pets

Once you can afford it, you can unlock two other pets, though you can only have one of them onscreen at any given time. To acquire another pet, select the add pet button on the top left corner of the screen. You can only have one pet of each species at a time.

The profiles of each pet appear on the top left corner of the screen, with the profiles of the other pet appearing below the active pet. To switch between pets, select your preferred profile.

Needs

Your pet has 4 needs, which need to be fulfilled as they decay over time. These needs are fulfilled in different rooms across the home, which you can access by selecting the buttons on the bottom center of the screen. Note that some needs take longer to fulfill than others. These are as follows:

• Happiness
• Cleanliness
• Energy
• Tummy

The easiest needs to fulfill is happiness, which you can do by interacting with your pet every so often. Select the game screen, then move your cursor or fingers back and forth to interact with your pet.

The next need to fulfill is the tummy motive, which represents hunger. Feed your pet by selecting food, then dragging and dropping it toward their mouths. Every pet has their own preferences. If they want to eat something, they will open their mouths. If they don’t, they keep it closed. There are 4 types of food available in the game: mangoes, watermelons, lettuce, and carrots. Food costs money; they can be purchased by selecting the shopping cart button.

Cleanliness is a slightly more complex need to fulfill. Cleaning your pet takes two steps. The first involves rubbing pink soap all over your pet. Select the shower button to activate the shower and wash down the suds from your pet.

The most time-consuming need to fulfill is energy. You have two options to meet this need. You can let your pet sleep or you can have them drink coffee. The two options give you choices based on what you want to do when your pet needs to replenish their energy. Sleeping will take hours to fulfill; it is the ideal choice if you want to take a break from playing. Giving the pet coffee is preferred if you want to keep playing.

Mini Games

You need money to buy your pets’ needs. To earn money, you’ll need to play and win at any of the 3 mini games. You can access the mini games by selecting the handheld console button from the playroom screen. Each mini game can be accessed by selecting their icon on the mini game menu. The money you receive is based on your score in each of the mini games.

Food Festival

Move your pet around to get them to eat as many food items as possible Make sure your pet only eats food; if they eat anything other than food (including soap), the game ends. Each piece of food your pet eats earns you 100 points.

Fruity Tap

Select a fruit to begin, Your goal is to make all the fruits identical by selecting them. There are 2 fruits shown onscreen. To change a fruit’s appearance, change it. Each group of fruits you successfully make identical will net you 100 points. Make as many groups identical before the 30-second timer expires. Each group you finish extends your timer by a small amount.

Hide and Seek

This is a 3 card monte-like game where you must find your pet from under the cups. At the start of the game, your pet will wave from their location. The cups will move around quickly; keep track of them as best you can. Select the cup that contains your pet. Each time you succeed, you earn 100 points. The game then scrambles the cups again.

You begin the game with 3 chances, shown on the top left corner. Each time you pick the wrong cup, you lose a chance. Lose all your chances and it’s game over.
