Basic Gameplay Advice
Move Molly around the level to bring them to the can of opened wet cat food. Molly can only slide from one edge to the next. For the most part, the edges you stop on will be walls. Stop at the right sequence of walls to get to where you need to go.
The game has 36 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You can replay any of the levels you’ve already beaten.
Levels have many factors that complicate the way you move around. From Level 5, you start seeing chairs. Chairs move whenever Molly hits them; they act like a stopper that enables Molly to slide to where she needs to go. Chairs are stuck once they reach a corner. Plants, which appear in Level 10 onwards, act the same way as walls but disappear when you hit them the first time. This can make planning your moves more difficult.
Later in the game, you’ll also encounter hazards. To get past them, you must press buttons. To press buttons, you must move a chair on top of them. One hazard is the dog. To remove the dog from the maze, you must push a button to let it out. Only when the dog is out can Molly safely land in the space it once occupied. Forcefields are also controlled by buttons. They appear near the wet food and prevent you from taking it. turn off the force field to gain access to the wet food. Some levels also have translucent walls. Molly can pass through them without a hitch once. But once they’ve been passed through, they turn into solid walls.
A few level features alter the way you move around the level. From Level 13, you encounter arrows. These allow Molly to move to the edge when she’s moving in the same direction where it’s pointing. However, if Molly moves in any other direction, she stops at the arrow. You encounter warp portal from Level 16 onwards. If Molly enters one portal, they come out the other end, stopping at the nearest wall or the portal itself depending on how many spaces are available. Cushions appear at Level 17. When Molly hits a cushion, she falls asleep; this effectively makes the pillow a stopper. You can move the pillow with Molly on it in any direction. Some pillows are hidden and will only appear if Molly passes by the tile it was hidden under.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Trial and error is your friend. The game has no time limit and you can play test each level as often as you’d like. Do be aware that you may need to restart the level a couple of times in cases where moving around alters it (e.g. starting outside an edge, chairs, plants, hidden pillows).
Pay attention to the level features and how they work. This way, you’ll be able to use them well when charting a path toward the can.
If moving through a level is challenging, consider charting a path to the can backwards. Visualize the path from the can toward Molly’s starting position and what you’d need to do to make it happen. We recommend using a pen and paper for this.
Educational Aspects
This game helps players think strategically. Their must plan their moves within the constraints of each level to bring the cat to the can. Because some levels take a bit of trial and error to solve, it also teaches patience.

This game is suited for players school-aged and above. We recommend this game for people who like sliding escape room games.
