Candy Slide is a sliding escape room puzzle game. Move the candies in the correct order to create a path for the red striped candy to leave the box. Solve each level in as few moves as you can.

How to Play Candy Slide

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Start to load the level selection screen. On the level selection screen, select an unlocked level number to begin.

Select a piece of candy to slide it. Tall candies can only slide vertically while long candies can only slide horizontally.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Slide the candies around to make room for the red striped candy to slide out of the opening in the container. The candies can only slide in a single direction indicated by their height and length. Slide the candies in the correct order to form the path.

The game keeps track of the number of moves you make while playing a level. Each level has a star rating based on the number of moves it took to finish the level. The fewer moves you use to finish the level, the higher your rating will be. The best rating you can get is 3 stars.

If you’re ever stuck, select the lightbulb button close to the lower left corner of the game screen to use a hint. This will indicate where you should move each of the candy blocks to solve the level.

The game has 24 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You can replay any of the levels you’ve previously beaten; you can do this in-game by selecting the arrow to the left of the level number on the top left corner of the game screen. Replay levels to improve your move count and star rating. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress, star ratings, and best move count.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Pay attention to the way the pieces are oriented. You can plan out their order of movement easier if you understand how they move in relation to the red striped candy.

Don’t be afraid to use the hints. They come with no penalties to your score. Do note that the hints might malfunction after the 8th level.

Feel free to move the red striped candy around to create the path. Often, you’ll need to do so to allow the other blocks to move.
