McFood Stack Game Review
McFood Stack Game Background
McFood Stack is a match 4 game where players must get 4 or more of the same type of food touching each other in adjacent positions.
Players grab food off the bottom of the stacks and place it on other stacks.
As you play the stacks slide down the screen and you play until a piece of food breaches the horizontal line near the bottom of the screen.
How to Play McFood Stack
Press the gray play button on the welcome screen to start the game.
Move left or right by pressing the associated arrow keys.
Press the Z key to grab the bottom piece of food from the column directly above you, then move to the column you wish to place the food and press Z again.
Press the X key to switch the bottom food in a column with the food above it.
Basic Gameplay Advice
In this game you are largely playing against time. Move quickly to make matches.
When you make matches all items do not need to be in the same row or column. You can match any 4 or more identical items so long as they touch. They can be organized as a line, an L-shape, or a zig zag pattern so long as they touch.
Each matched food scores 100 points when the food tile is knocked off the grid.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Try to focus on making moves which can be made quickly without a lot of back and forth movement.
If a column is much longer than adjacent columns look for ways to either quickly match the food at the bottom of it, or simply pull items from that row and drop them into an adjacent shorter row.
Educational Aspects
This game can help players work on organization, rapid decision making, and spatial reasoning.
Player Age Recommendations
This game is fun for experienced gamers of all ages. Younger players below middle school may get frustrated at how quickly the fruits move down the screen.
