Fruit Flip Mahjonngg is a variation on the traditional Mahjong Solitaire formula. Like in most Mahjong Solitaire games, you must pair free identical tiles to clear them. Here, however, you must match tiles twice.

How to Play Fruit Flip Mahjongg

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. To begin, select Play at the upper right side of the welcome screen.

Select a tile, then select an identical free time to match it. Free tiles have no tiles on top of them and at least one horizontal side without an adjacent tile.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Basic Rules

The basic rules of Mahjong Solitaire apply to this game, but with a twist. Select a pair of free identical tiles to match them. Match tiles twice to clear them from the stack. A tile that’s been matched once turns from green to yellow. You can pair otherwise identical tiles regardless of their colors. Free stones have a brighter color, while non-free stones are grayed out.

You must clear the entire stack before the timer runs out. If the last tiles are a single pair that’s one on top of the other, the game will still consider the level beaten. If you run out of time, you will fail the level. You can either replay the level or quit. Quitting will clear your previous game levels.

Levels & Scoring

The game has 25 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You cannot replay a level you’ve played before. Each time you replay the game, you have the option to either restart from the first level or continue from the last level you’ve unlocked. Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

Your score is cumulative across every level. You earn 100 points each time you make a match; removing a pair will, in effect, grant you 200 points. In addition, you receive an extra 2 points for every second remaining on the timer. You can save your final score on the leaderboard when you finish every level or quit after failing. Select High Scores on the welcome screen to view the leaderboard.

Assistance

The game has two assistance options. Each one can be used multiple times, but will deduct points from your final store. Select the arrow button to shuffle the stack and select the question mark button to get a hint.

• Hints cost 100 points and will show you any pair of identical tiles anywhere on the stack.
• Manual shuffles cost 500 points and will change the position of every tile onscreen.

If you run out of valid pairs, the game will automatically shuffle the tiles for free.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

As with all Mahjong Solitaire games, your task early in the game is to increase the number of valid moves you can make. Open up the stack by clearing the tiles on the edges first. We recommend matching every available pair of identical green tiles first before proceeding to matching tiles of different colors.

In general, we recommend relying on the automatic shuffle rather than paying for manual ones until you’re running out of moves.
