This is a simple cannon firing level destruction game where your goal is to defeat all of the green pigs.

The game was clearly inspired by the Angry Birds franchise. Depfov published this game on August 17, 2021.

How to Play Cannon Egg

Use your mouse left click button to select the cannon and move it left or right as needed. When the cannon is in the correct position left click on the right side of the screen to fire an egg.

Keep firing eggs until all of the pigs have been defeated. Pigs can be defeated by hitting them directly, knocking them off platform, having something fall on them, or exploding nearby TNT.

Basic Gameplay Advice

The goal of the game is to use a limited number of eggs to destroy all of the green pigs. Each stage has a unique egg count, which tends to grow as you progress through the game and the game grows more complex.

You fire the eggs out of a cannon, though don’t control the aim of the cannon by setting force and angle. Instead you move the cannon back and forth across the ground to control the shot.

You can earn up to a 3-star rating on each stage based on how efficiently you use your eggs. All 30 stages are unlocked sequentially, and you can go back to previously beat levels to try to earn a better rating on them.

Avoid hitting spinning blades with the eggs, as they destroy the eggs.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

If you make a move that hides a pig in a hard to hit position you can press the menu button in the upper right corner then tap on the restart button to reload the current level.

Wood platforms and stone structures can be destroyed, though they typically take at least 2 or 3 hits to destroy. Given your limited ammo, in most cases you are better off trying to knock structures over than to destroy each part of them.

In general the most efficient use of eggs is shooting to set off a TNT blast, which can set off cascading waves of damage. You often have to damage the early structures to clear a path to shoot further right.

It is best to keep progressing through the game without worrying about your star rating performance, as you can always go back and replay previously beat levels.

This is a simple (though challenging) physics puzzle game. It can help children visualize physics forces and how chain reactions happen.

Player Age Recommendations

The gameplay mechanics on this game are less intuitive than on most of the Angry Birds inspired slingshot-styled games, and the controls get quite challenging in the last third of the game. This, in turn, makes this game harder than most games in this category. Grade school students would likely enjoy a game like Neon Shot more than this one, though older games may well enjoy both.
