How to Play Coffee Drip

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button to bring up the level selection screen. Select the unlocked level’s number to begin.

To dig, select anywhere on the screen and move down. Move to the left or right as you select to make turns on the way down.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Your goal is to create a path through the coffee grounds for the coffee to flow through the coffee cup at the bottom of the level. Fill the cup at the bottom to win. Gain a bonus per level by collecting coffee beans on the way down. There are 3 beans to collect.

Each level has an assortment of stationary and moving hazards that you must dig around. Moving wheels may push away coffee droplets away from the others and keep them from flowing down. Hot plates, which can be either stationary or moving, will evaporate any drops that hit them. Gates will block the flow of coffee until 3 drops hit a key somewhere else in the level. The level itself may have parts of its walls stick out horizontally, which act as immovable barriers.

The game has 16 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You can replay any of the levels you’ve previously beaten. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress.

You earn 100 points for every drop of coffee that reaches the cup. Every bean infused with 5 drops of coffee is worth an extra 300 points.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

In levels without moving barriers and platforms, gravity is your biggest ally. Dig straight as you can to move the drops quickly though the levels. Consider digging from further away areas and meet up with the source of the drops. Whenever you encounter beans in hard-to-reach corners, dig a rounded bottom under them to access them better.

Dealing with moving barriers are a different matter. In general, you should clear out the downstream path beforehand to allow the drops to flow down without getting stuck. Have the drops rest above the platforms path on either side, then clear the path just when the platform moves away.

Often, you can break the flow of the drops into small batches. This can be done by breaking up the flow into two or keep one batch above to be brought down later.
