PartyJong Game Background

PartyJong is a Mahjong Solitaire game themed after children’s parties. Match pairs of identical free tiles to clear them from the stack. Clear the stack before the timer expires to beat each level.

How to Play PartyJong

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play below the game’s title at the top center to open the level selection screen. Select an unlocked level’s icon to begin.

Select a free tile, then select an identical one elsewhere to clear them from the stack. Free tiles have no tile above them and no tile next to at least one of their horizontal sides.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Basic Rules

Select pairs of identical free tiles to remove them from the screen. The game helpfully grays out non-free tiles, making it easier to seek them out. Clear every tile on the stack before the timer expires to beat each level. You will fail if you run out of time.

Levels & Scoring

The game has 30 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress. You can replay any of the levels you’ve previously beaten. Later levels have more tiles and and longer time limits. The first level has 2 minutes and 2 seconds on the clock, and every subsequent level has 2 extra second added in

The game has two scores: individual level scores and a total cumulative score for every level you’ve played. You also receive a star rating, which is based on the number of points you’ve earned. The highest star rating you can receive per level is 3 stars. Your total score appears at the top center of the level selection screen.

You earn 100 points for every free pair of tiles you clear and earn an extra 28 points for every second left on the timer. Replay levels to increase your scores and star ratings.

Assistance

Unlike our other Mahjong Solitaire games, this one only has one form of assistance, manual shuffles. Select the double arrow button on the lower right side of the game screen to shuffle the tiles onscreen. Shuffles cost 300 points.

If you run out of pairs, the game automatically shuffles the stack for free.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Work your way inwards. Start from the tallest columns and the edges to gradually open up the rest of the stack.

Save on points by relying more on automatic shuffles, particularly in the early levels. These will not cost you any points.
