Kitchen Merger Game Review
Kitchen Merger Game Background
Kitchen Merger is a simple fruit merging game inspired by the original Suika Game. Your goal is to create the largest fruit by dropping and merging pairs of identical fruits together. Keep dropping and merging fruits for as long as you can.
How to Play Kitchen Merger
To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play at the center to begin.
On a desktop, left click with your mouse and hold to aim, then release to drop the fruit. On a touchscreen device, tap on the screen with your fingers to drop the fruit in that direction.
Basic Gameplay Advice
Drop the fruits down the shaft. The fruit you will drop is shown by the arrow on the bottom row of the screen (this doubles as your merging chart). Bring two identical fruits together to merge them into a larger fruit. Continue the process until you form the largest fruit (the watermelon), then keep merging fruits afterward.
Unlike similar games, the watermelons of this game will not merge together and disappear; keep merging around them until you run out of space. When the stack of fruits goes past the dashed line at the top of the shaft, the game ends.
Your score is based on the size of the fruits you merge. The larger the fruits that merge, the higher your score will be. You can compare your final and best scores on the game over screen.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Keep things as orderly as possible in the early game. Organize each of the fruits as well as you can to make them easy to merge. As the game progresses, be sure to keep the smaller fruits away from the larger ones to keep them from getting in the way of potential merges. We recommend tossing smaller-value fruits to one side if you can’t find a place for them.
Wait until the fruits stop moving before dropping the next ones in. Dropping fruits one after the other may cause them to move out of your desired alignment.
Educational Aspects
This game encourages players to think strategically. They must place each fruit methodically to place them, especially as the stack grows higher. The game also encourages players to be patient.
Player Age Recommendations
This game is suited for players school-aged and above. We recommend this game for fans of the original Suika Game and others like it.
