This is a cut-the-rope styled physics puzzle game.

The goal of the game is to try to collect all of the stars with the candy and then safely get the candy to the cat. The cat will only open its mouth after all 3 stars have been collected.

How to Play Cut for Cat 2

Players control the game entirely with their mouse.

Left click your mouse to interact with items & drag your mouse with the left click button held in to cut ropes.

Basic Gameplay Advice

This game features 100 stages which are unlocked sequentially. You beat a level by getting the candy safely to the cat.

Platform Design

Ropes can hold candies or platforms in place. Left click on them or swipe through them with the left click held in to cut the ropes.

Chains can both help you get the candy where you want to get it, and can block your path. On some levels there are blades which can be activated to cut through the chains, though you must make sure the blade does not hit the candy.

Wooden platforms can be either stationary or held up by balloons. Metal platforms can have spikes on them. Tap on the spiked metal platform to retract the spikes.

Some stages contain portals which allow the candy to warp from one location to another.

Interactive Elements

Balloons can lift up items which are attached to them. Remove the balloon to remove the upward force.

Blades can be used to destroy chains, though you must make sure they do not destroy the candy.

Tap on blowers to push the candy in the direction the blower points. Blowers can be used repeatedly though are typically only required one use each.

Bubbles can act as a protective shield for the candy. Some bubbles rise while others are stationary. Tap on the bubble to pop it, causing the candy to fall.

Magnets which are activated catch candy which pass over them. The magnets move across a rail. Selecting the candy when it is attached to a magnet causes the magnet to release the candy.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Take a good look at the level design before making any moves. Some moves need to be tightly timed, whereas other moves can be done in advance. For example, bubbles can knock candies off their ropes, so in some cases you need to destroy some bubbles in advance.

You can only cycle each magnet on and off once. Time your rope cuts and magnet releases with great caution, as a tiny amount of horizontal momentum can throw the candy offline. The longer the candy is on the magnet the smoother the movement becomes.
