How to Play Hungry Slime

Left click or tap the spacebar each time you want to alternate platform states. Solid box platforms will become translucent and translucent boxes will become solid.

Basic Gameplay Advice

The goal is to avoid the spikes and safely make it to the strawberries. The green slime automatically runs until it runs into something and then changes directions. The slime can bounce off of spring pads to jump, but otherwise keeps walking straight and then switching directions each time it hits something.

Toward the end of the game some stages have red and green gravity pads which warp you back and forth while reversing gravity.

If the green slime runs into spikes, blades, or a red slimes it is game over, and the level reloads.

Each of the 30 stages is unlocked sequentially, and as soon as you beat one level the next level is loaded.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Many movements are only possible through precise timing and making your switches while the slime is moving in a particular direction.

If you are having trouble getting the slime through a particular area consider testing alternate paths or making the platform switches when moving in the opposite direction.

This game is easy and fast enough to be fun for all ages. Even if the final few stages are tough the early stages should not be difficult to beat for young kids new to gaming.
