The goal of the game is to clear the table of stones, by matching them a pair at a time.

How to Play Mahjong Solitaire

Select an open stone, then select an identically matching open stone.

A stone is considered open if either the left or right side are free of other stones, and no stone is atop it.

Basic Gameplay Advice

The right rail of the game shows how many open pairs remain and how long you have been playing for.

Underneath the above statistics there are 4 buttons to start a new game, shuffle the remaining stones, undo a move, or open the options pannel.

The options panel allows you to choose from 4 different layout types and 3 different stone types.

The four different layout types available in this game are: castle, heart, traditional/spider (default), and the square.

Neon food is the bright default stone type. Fruit and vegetable is a produce-themed version of the stones. Cute foods uses a kawaii design on the stones.

It typically makes sense to match off tiles from the widest rows and deepest columns first, so that you enable additional moves.
