Tofu Boy is a simple obstacle evasion tap-timing game. As a tiny boy atop a piece of tofu, jump at the right time to evade the pieces of tofu being added to the plate. Keep jumping for as long as you can and watch the tofu tower rise.

How to Play Tofu Boy

To select, left click with your mouse, press the space bar on your keyboard, or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. Select Play at the center of the welcome screen to begin. Select to jump.

Basic Gameplay Advice

You play as a tiny boy on top of a plate of tofu. Jump at the right time to avoid the oncoming piece of tofu that comes at you from either the left or right sides of the screen. When you successfully evade the tofu and land, the tofu stays in place. Keep jumping and evading for as long as you can; the game ends when a piece of tofu hits you.

You earn 1 point after the first piece of tofu you evade and up to 5 points for every other one, depending on how well it lines up with the ones below it. Keep track of your current score on the top center of the game screen. You can compare your latest and best scores on the game over screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

The key to evading the tofu is to jump not much later than the moment you spot it. This will give you enough time to jump high enough for the tofu to miss. Wait too late and you dramatically increase the likelihood of getting hit.

Time your jumps right to maximize the odds of landing when the cube of tofu lines up with the one below it. This will help bolster your score early in the game.
