Watermelon Quest Game Background

Watermelon Quest is a knife throwing game where you play as an intrepid chef who has a limited number of knives to throw to take out all of the watermelons. The game is similar to archery games, and you only move by shooting knives, with your character moving in the opposite direction you move.

How to Play Watermelon Quest

Press the orange and brown button in the lower center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen. Tap on a level number to begin play.

Use your mouse to aim and left click to shoot. When you shoot a knife the chef moves in the opposite direction.

If you make a mistake you can press the R key or the reset button in the upper right corner to restart each stage.

Basic Gameplay Advice

This game has 25 stages which are unlocked sequentially. Beat each level by avoiding contact with spikes and taking out all of the watermelons.

Use your limited number of knives to hit all of the watermelons on each stage. Your knives can also be used to break brown boxes which fall with gravity and blue boxes which float.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

It is easier to fall than it is to go up, so take out stuff near the top if you start higher up on a stage.

Some stages give you few shots to complete them. One way to make the most out of your shots is to shoot where two crates meet so that you can take multiple crates out with a single shot. Clear out crates in your way before you start moving.

Another way to make the most of your arrows is to shoot rapidly when climbing so you can climb high using few arrows. If you do not need to move while making shots then shoot while stationary to have the best aim. If you need to hit something on the ground floor and need to move up try to shoot to move upward in a way that allows you to hit the item while you are moving up.
