Basic Gameplay Advice
When the food appears before the grandparent, select the button that represents the category the dish belongs to. Selecting correctly will keep the hunger meter on the top left corner filled, while selecting incorrectly will make it empty out faster. Keep selecting the correct categories to keep the grandparent appropriately filled. When the hunger meter is empty, the game ends.
You earn points based on the number of correct selections you made. The game does not show you the number of points you earn during a session, but shows you your final score in the game over screen. The more correct selections you make, the higher your score will be.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
When playing on a desktop, keep your mouse cursor at the center button but don’t click on it. This will reduce the amount of time you spend switching from one button to the next, especially if the next answer is significantly different from the previous one.
Educational Aspects
This game introduces players to three major food groups and tests their knowledge of what type of dishes belong there.
Player Age Recommendations
This game is suited for toddlers and younger school-aged children. The game’s concept is quite simple and may not be as entertaining for older players. We recommend this game for younger players who are learning about food groups.
