Idle Hotel Empire Game Review
Idle Hotel Empire Game Background
Idle Hotel Empire is a 2D vertical idle tycoon game. You are in charge of the development of the Everyday Hotel. Direct employees and managers when needed, and earn enough to expand the hotel further.
This game was developed by MarketJS, the team behind Idle Mole Empire and Idle Hypermart Empire. The games in the series follow a very similar set of rules.
How to Play Idle Hotel Empire
To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button at the center to get started.
Using your starting capital of $10, buy a room by selecting the empty floor. Manage each room by selecting it when it has no activity. The same applies for the elevator and reception. When the activity ends, select it again.
You do not have managers at the start of the game. Earn enough cash to hire your first manager first. Managers will allow the floor to run autonomously, freeing you to focus on expansion. You can supercharge managers for 30 seconds; this increases the speed of all the employees under them. The supercharge has a cooldown of 3 minutes.
After you start earning billions in revenue, investors start showing up. Accepting the investors’ offer will force you to restart the game but increase your profits in the new game. The more investors are on board, the greater the profits are when you start over. We recommend putting it off until more investors go on board.

Basic Gameplay Advice
The first order of business is to automate your operations. You must strive to earn enough cash to hire managers at all three of your starting facilities (first room, elevator, and reception). Likewise, when expanding, be sure to include the cost of hiring the manager to make the floor automated as soon as possible. Not only will it free you from needing to micromanage each one, it will also grant you a trickle of idle income.
Idle income earns you money while you’re not playing the game, giving you an incentive to leave and come back. As your operations scale up, so does the size of your idle income per second.
The building has 9 floors with which to build on. There are two types of floors to expand on. When you build on a finished floor, you only pay for the cost of the new rooms built. Unfinished floors need to be renovated, which adds a significant extra cost. We recommend improving the lower floors before renovating an unfinished one.
Upgrading the elevator and reception is of secondary importance. Usually, you’ll need to upgrade when the elevator starts leaving money behind because it can’t collect them all. Pay attention to the efficiency of the elevator and reception to know when to upgrade them. We recommend upgrading them at the same time.
Upgrading the rooms and manager is another matter. Each upgrade increases the profit margins of each room. In addition, the number of staff in a room increases by one worker every 25 level upgrades. Upgrading managers increases the speed of the workers.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
The goal of the game is expansion. As soon as you can afford it, buy a new floor and hire a manager for it.
The game encourages immediately upgrading your floors. In practice, however, this only applies to the first floor. Once you reach the second floor onward, it makes better sense to upgrade later. We also recommend upgrading in batches of 10 or buy all the upgrades you can afford at once. Because upper floors make more money, it makes better sense to upgrade them first.
Educational Aspects
The game is a simplified business simulation and highlights the need to reinvest profits in the operations to ensure continuous growth. It also underscores the importance of delegation, as players can’t expand while micromanaging every aspect of the hotel. That said, the game has its limits; it does not simulate operational expenses, which are a key factor in real-world businesses.
Player Age Recommendations
The game is suitable for players ranging from older children to adults. We recommend this game for fans of idle tycoon games. Younger players may find the game’s pace slow.
