Ice Cream Bar is a simple pattern-matching restaurant sim set in an ice cream store. Serve the frozen dessert of the customer’s choice by placing in each ingredient in the correct order. Satisfy the orders of the required number of customers before the timer runs out to finish each level.

This game was developed by Zygomatic. Its gameplay is pretty similar to Ice Cream.

How to Play Ice Cream Bar

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers.

At the center of the welcome screen, select Play to begin. If you’ve played before, the game will ask you if you want to continue the previous session or start a new one. Select Help to open the game’s tutorial screen. Select the list box on the bottom left corner to play the game in a different language.

Select a container, then select the scoops of ice cream that the customer is asking for. Make sure to layer the ice cream in the proper order and that it is placed in the correct container. If you make a mistake, select the trash can on the bottom left corner to dispose of the ice cream and start again.

Basic Gameplay Advice

There are 20 levels in this game, which are unlocked sequentially. Each level has a time limit. Beat the level before the timer near the top left expires. You cannot replay any of the levels once you finish them. Instead, you may reset your progress, which puts you back on the first level.

Your work station at the center only has 3 slots for each type of ice cream container. You can only work on orders one at a time.

Some items are locked at the start of the game. As you progress through the levels, more items become available. Subsequently, the types of ice cream orders you receive become more and more complex. You will run out of items and need to restock from time to time. The restocking process takes a few seconds Try to move quickly once restocking is complete to avoid losing customers.

You only have a limited time to satisfy a customer’s orders, which is indicated by the timer bar to their right. If the timer bar expires, the customers leave. The game usually provides you with ample customers, so it’s not a loss if you lose some of them. Expect to lose some customers in later levels if you don’t work fast enough.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Don’t place any ice cream in the container until after you receive an order from a customer. Work quickly while making sure that the ice cream and toppings are in the proper order before sending the order out. It’s a bigger waste of time to throw out ice cream than to lose customers at first, so focus on getting everything in order should take greater priority.

Minimize the number of customers that leave out of impatience. In later levels, losing customers to impatience will set you back especially as the timer starts to run out.
