How to Play Egg Jump

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button at the center to begin.

Select anywhere onscreen to make the egg jump.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Make the egg jump from one basket to the next. Climb up as many baskets as possible. The egg must land as close to the center of the basket as possible to avoid falling off. If you fail, a new egg appears on the basket below it.

You begin with 6 lives, which appear as eggs on the top right corner of the game screen. You lose an egg each time you fail to land one in a basket. Lose all your eggs and it’s game over.

You earn 1 point for every basket your egg lands on. Your web browser automatically saves your best score. You can compare your latest and best scores on the game over screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Time your moves right to increase the chances of landing the egg into the basket. In general, you should wait until a moving basket approaches you before you toss the eggs. Ideally, the egg should land just as the basket passes its location. To move it to a stationary basket from a moving one, wait until the moving basket is close to the center of the next one.

One unique challenge for players is a pair of moving baskets that move in the same direction but have some distance between them. The best time to move the egg is when the upper basket is about to hit the wall.
