How to Play Halloween Merge Mania

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. To begin, select the play button below the game’s title at the center of the welcome screen.

Select, hold, and move your mouse cursor or fingers to aim. Drop the ball at the location where the line is pointing by releasing your click or tap.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Dropping two identical balls next to one another and you will crease a larger ball. Your goal is to create the largest ball as shown in the chart on the top left corner. The balls resemble common Halloween-themed things, including classic and modern movie monsters. The game automatically generates the first five balls.

The ball you’re about to drop appears at the top of the container. The next ball you’ll drop appears on the top right corner of the screen. Think two steps ahead and plan where to drop both the current and next balls before proceeding. A line shows you where the ball will drop; use this to carefully aim the balls where you want to place them.

Once dropped, the balls move for a bit before settling; it’s wise to wait until the balls settle down before dropping the second ball. Unlike other games of this type, the irregular shape of the balls mean they won’t roll or move out of place much once you drop them.

The game ends when the balls reach the top rim of the container. A red bar flashes each time you approach the rim of the container.

You earn points for every pair of balls you merge. When merged, each pair has a different value. Your web browser automatically saves your best score. Your best score appears below your current score at the top center of the screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

As much as possible, keep the balls sorted in an orderly fashion. Try to keep the smaller balls from coming in between the larger ones. This will not only make it easier to merge larger balls but also keep large voids from forming, which would otherwise bring the stack higher up. We recommend lining them up according to size to make merging them easier, such as from left to right.

Consider dropping a ball in a way that will let it push an adjacent ball in any desired direction. This way, you can nudge a pair enough to have them touch and merge.

The game has no time limit. You get no bonus for merging quickly. Take your time while playing to reduce the chances of making mistakes.
