Traffic Escape is a intersection management logic puzzle game that puts you in charge of the traffic management in a series of increasingly complicated roadways. Move each of the cars in the right order to keep the intersection clear.

How to Play Traffic Escape

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the screen with your fingers.

Select Play on the bottom center of the level selection screen to begin. The game’s 45 levels are unlocked sequentially. You can only play an unlocked level once. Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

Select the cars in the proper order to clear them from the intersection. The direction the cars will go is indicated by the arrow above them.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Starting from Level 11, you’ll need to finish each level within the number of moves provided. The move counter is shown on the top center of the screen. You will fail a level if you run out of moves.

Pedestrians are a recurring hazard. Hitting a pedestrian will cause a game over. If you spot a pedestrian, you must wait for them to cross before selecting any of the cars.

In particularly complex intersections, you may need the help of a booster to solve a level. Boosters are unlocked after a specific level. You start with 3 of them. Select the desired booster’s button on the bottom center of the screen to use them. The boosters are as followed:

• Helicopters remove a car from the intersection. They first appear in Level 11.
• Hints show you any car that won’t collide with another if selected. They appear from Level 12 onward.

To replace your boosters, you can buy them from the store.

Each car you successfully move out of the intersection is worth 1 coin. Use the coins you’ve earned to unlock new vehicle skins or buy more boosters. You can open the store screen by selecting the store button on the center left edge of the level selection screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Use the boosters sparingly. The booster you’ll likely need to use more in especially difficult levels are the hints, which can help you find the free cars you need to open up the level. Use the helicopter booster only when you know which car to remove.

If you’re ever stumped and have no boosters left, consider skipping the level. Selecting the skip level button when it appears on the top right corner will redirect you to an ad page. Wait till the ad page plays out before proceeding to the next level.

This game challenges a player’s ability to think logically and visually to make the most out of a limited number of moves. Players must pay close attention to how each car moves to choose the right ones to move first.
