That game was the successor to a 2008 Flash game named Meat Boy, which was designed by Jonathan McEntee and Edmund McMillen.

How to Play Super Meat Runner

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Start to begin.

Select anywhere on the screen to jump.

Basic Gameplay Advice

The meatball automatically moves forward. Keep it rolling for as long as possible by making it jump at the right time. The longer the ball rolls, the more points you earn. The game ends when the meatball hits anything (be it spikes, electrodes, or the sides of platforms).

Your web browser automatically saves your best score. Your best score appears at the bottom center of the welcome screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Jump as the meatball closes its distance with the obstacle. Often, you’d need to do this multiple times in rapid succession, such as when the meatball has to hop from one platform to another.
