Candy Jam is a simple time-based connect 3 game. Clear the target candies by forming rows of 3 or more identical ones. Finish as many levels as you can within the time limit provided.

How to Play Candy Jam

Select by left clicking with your mouse or tapping on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play at the center to begin.

Select a candy, then select its neighbor to move it. You can only move candies horizontally or vertically. The candies will snap into place if one of them forms a valid row of 3 or more. Otherwise they will return to their original positions.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Your goal is to collect the target candies shown above the screen. Form horizontal or vertical rows of three or more identical candies to remove them from the grid. Each candy listed that you clear deducts one from your quota. Finish off your quota to beat the level.

The game automatically shuffles the grid if you run out of moves. It will also point out any valid pair of candies if you go without making a move for a few seconds.

Upon finishing a level, you automatically receive another set to clear. Keep clearing levels until the three-minute timer on the bottom row expires.

From time to time, a bomb appears among the candies that come in to replace the ones you’ve cleared. Select this to clear up to 8 surrounding candies without forming a valid row.

You earn 10 points for every piece of candy you clear. You earn between 30 to 50 points for every row you clear and up to 80 points for detonating a bomb. Your web browser automatically saves your best score. See your best scores on the leaderboard by selecting Scores on the welcome screen.
