Candy Cane Hit is a Christmas-themed tap-timing throwing game that swaps out knives for candy canes. Toss all the candy canes at the target without hitting any of those already there.

How to Play Candy Cane Hit

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play at the bottom center to begin.

Select anywhere onscreen to shoot a candy cane at the target.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Shoot candy canes at the target without hitting the candy canes already there. Clear each stage by shooting all the candy canes indicated on the lower left side of the screen. Slice fruits with the candy canes to earn extra points.

The game is divided into stages. Each time you finish off your candy canes, the game loads a new stage with a new target. Fruits appear from the third stage onwards. Each time you restart the game, you start at at the first stage. As you progress through the game, you must shoot more canes to clear the stage.

The game automatically ends when you hit any of the candy canes already there. This includes the canes that appear on the target at the start of the game. How the game defines the start of a cane is tricky. While you can toss another candy cane where the curved head of another is present, you cannot have it share the space with the shaft of another candy cane.

Your earn 1 point for every cane you lodge onto the target. Each fruit you slice is worth 5 points.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Unlike most games of this type, this one auto pauses between shots. You cannot do rapid-fire shots in this game, which can work to your advantage as the direction and speed of the target’s rotation can change erratically. We recommend waiting until the target slows down before shooting to minimizing the likelihood of hitting the other canes.
