How to Play Orange Drop

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. Select Start on the welcome screen to bring up the level selection screen. Select an available level to begin.

On the desktop, use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to move horizontally. On a touchscreen device, tap on the move buttons on the bottom left and right corners to move.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Basic Rules

The orange automatically starts hopping on its own. Move the hopping orange from left to right to avoid spikes and other obstacles. Bring the orange to the pit to move it down the platforms. Repeat the process until the orange reaches the ground. The game has no time limit, so you can take things slow as you move down.

If the orange hits any of the obstacles, it’s game over. You can try the level again as many times as you’d like.

Levels

The game has 20 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. The levels gradually increase in difficulty as you play; early levels have few obstacles and later ones have several. You can replay any of the levels you’ve already beaten.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Focus your attention on the obstacles to the sides; the orange never jumps high enough to hit any of the obstacles above them.

Adjust the orange’s jump movement laterally by changing directions while jumping. This can help you avoid obstacles on the way down.

It’s possible to drop down safely down the length of several platforms (as long as you dodge the spikes that may appear at the bottom). In some stages, it makes a lot of sense to move down several platforms at once in a single jump. In others, you must jump to one platform to hop over an obstacle, then move to one side before attempting to jump over a spike near the hole.
