How to Play Sushi Master Match 3

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play on the lower left side to begin.

Select one piece of sushi, then drag it to the place of an adjacent one to have them swap places. They will stay on place if one of them forms a valid row of three or more identical pieces. Otherwise, they will return to their previous locations.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Form and clear rows of three or more identical pieces of sushi by selecting and swapping individual pieces. Clear groups of pieces that correspond to the orders of the customers shown on the top row of the game screen. Each customer has a circle around their order indicating their patience. This slowly decays the longer they wait. If it decays completely, they will leave in frustration.

The number of customers you need to serve appears in the shadow on the left side of the screen. Once that number goes down to zero, the level ends.

The game provides you with 3 lives, shown as hearts on the top center of the welcome screen. Each time you lose a customer, you lose one life. Lose all your lives and it’s game over.

The game has 10 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You cannot replay levels you’ve already beaten. Each time you reload the game, you have the option to start over from the first level or continue from the last one you’ve beaten. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress.

The number of points you earn varies with the customer. The longer the customer waits, the lower the score you receive.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

You can use the game’s mechanisms to your advantage, whether they’re withing your control or not. Some levels have grids that begin with valid rows already generated. These will be cleared and replaced, and any of the customers automatically served. Whenever this happens, you automatically have a good head start in the game. Likewise, if you have multiple customers asking for the same thing, the first row you clear that matches the order goes to the one whose timer is further along, preventing you from losing that customer.

Thus, you can put most of your focus on forming the rows needed to satisfy the customers. Only when the customer’s preferred pieces aren’t available should you try to clear any other pieces.
