Easter Pile is an Easter-themed Mahjong Solitaire game. Match pairs of Easter-themed tiles to remove them from the stack. Beat each level by clearing the entire stack.

How to Play Easter Pile

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play belong the title of the game to begin.

Select a tile, then select another identical free tile to clear them from the stack.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Basic Rules

Your goal is to clear the entire stack before the timer runs out. Remove tiles from the stack by selecting pairs of free identical tiles. Tiles are free if they have nothing above them and have at least one side without an adjacent tile. The game helpfully grays out the tiles that are not free.

The tiles are subject to gravity, which take effect the moment you clear the first pair of tiles. The tiles fall according to their layers. Once you remove a tile, the tiles above it will fall down.

You have a limited amount of time to clear all the tiles onscreen. If you run out of time before clearing everything, it’s game over. You can replay the level or quit and save your final score to the leaderboard.

Levels

The game has 40 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. Each time you reload the game and continue your previous session, you begin at the latest level you’ve unlocked. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress.

Each time you reload the game, you have the option to either reload your previous session or start a new one. Starting a new session clears your previous game data.

Scoring

Each pair you clear is worth 50 points. Every remaining second gives between 7 and 8 points to your final score. Your score is cumulative across every level you play.

You can save your score to the leaderboard after you quit or finish the game. You can view the leaderboard by selecting High Scores on the welcome screen.

Power Ups

The game offers 2 power ups. These can help you out of a tight spot art the cost of your points. Use them only when you Hints cost 300 points; these show you a valid pair of tiles somewhere in the stack. Shuffles cost 500 points and will rearrange every pair of tiles on the stack.

The game will also shuffle the stack for free when you run out of valid moves.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Pay attention to the gravity and layers in the game. Taking out pieces in the bottom will bring down the rest of the tiles above it, which in turn will affect which tiles remain free. Whenever you can, clear tiles from the top and avoid clearing the ones at the bottom unless you really need to.
