Pizza Tower places you in the shoes of an entrepreneur launching a mega pizza restaurant that must be housed in an ever-growing tower. Invest in new floors and upgrade existing ones to improve your cash flow. Can you build a pizzeria empire that’ll give Papa Louie a run for his money?

How to Play Pizza Tower

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the loading screen, select anywhere to bring up the game screen. The game is immediately playable upon loading.

To get started, select the chef. You only need to do this once on the first floor; all subsequent floors have the chefs work autonomously from the beginning. Select the pizzas on the clerk’s table to have the elevator pick them up. Unlike in other tower-based idle tycoon games, the elevator shaft must be operated manually throughout the game.

Select the button on the upper right corner of each floor to open the floor’s operations menu. From there, select the upgrade button on the bottom right corner of the floor’s menu to purchase an upgrade. To open the operations menu of the elevator, select the button on the bottom of the elevator shaft. Upgrade the elevator and the delivery service by selecting the upgrade button on the elevator’s operations menu.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Basic Rules

Your main goal is to expand your operations. Start by running your first floor, then watch your first pizza chef prepare pizzas. Once the chef’s made enough pizzas, select the pile of boxes to have the elevator pick it up and send it to the delivery driver. Once the delivery driver leaves, you earn money based on the number and value of the pizzas sold. The money you earn can be used to expand your operations, building the tower higher and improving the efficiency of each work process.

The chefs and the delivery driver work autonomously (though, as mentioned, the first chef must be selected first to start working).

Unlike other idle tycoon games, this is not one that you can “set and forget.” Each time you move away from the game’s tab, it behaves like it was paused. That said, your web browser still automatically saves your progress while the game is active.

Upgrade Overview

Once you can afford it, level up your operations, starting with your floors. Upgrading floors increase the price of the pizza and increases the speed in which they are made. Further upgrades increase the number of chefs working in the floor. You can have up to 3 pizza chefs in every floor. Likewise, you can have a maximum of 5 delivery drivers at any given time. Upgrading your operations room increases the speed of both the delivery drivers and the elevator.

Add new floors to boost your output. New floors immediately have chefs that start working immediately and their base income is much higher than that of the previous floors. Adding new floors also increases the carrying capacity of your deliver drivers. Much later in the game, you must add new floors and upgrade operations to increase the drivers’ capacity.

The cost of adding floors and upgrading facilities increases with time. Both floors and the operations room can be upgraded up to 50 times.

Leveling Up

The game levels up as you earn money. The level up progress bar appears on the top center of the screen. The more money you earn, the more the bar turns green. Once the bar is full, you move up a level. Keep leveling up for as long as you can until you Level 50.

Unlike in other tycoon games where investors offer to buy your tower once you reach a threshold, this game is effectively over when you reach the 50th Level. That said, it does give you the option to play again.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Building Tips

If you want a quick infusion of cash, you’re going to want to build up your first floor to Level 10 first, then expand upwards. Focusing on floors will give you an increase in income capacity. That said, getting to Level 10 in the operations room will give you another driver, so don’t neglect these upgrades. The general clue to when you need to make upgrades to your operations is when money is left behind by the drivers.

The elevator takes the same speed to collect pizzas from every floor in the building. Collecting from lower floors thus appears slow and tedious compared to collecting from upper floors. And because the upper floors produce higher-valued pizzas, it’s more profitable to upgrade them. This way, you can collect pizzas worth larger sums from them Occasionally, you can empty out the lower floors.

Operations Guidelines

As you upgrade, the operation speed of the elevator and the delivery drivers increases, as does the capacity of the drivers. The drivers’ capacity, in particular, is dictated both by the operation room’s level and the number of floors in the building. You gain a new driver by Levels 10, 20, 35, and 50

Delivery has a base speed of 4 seconds, which goes faster by 5 percent with each upgrade. Likewise, elevators take 2 seconds to operate per floor; every upgrade makes it go faster by 3 percent.

The cost of upgrading the operations increases sharply with each upgrade. the first upgrade is at 20, the second at 420, the third at 840, and so on. These costs also increase dramatically when you add more floors to the building.

Educational Aspects

Like our other tycoon-style idle tapping games, this game highlights the importance of reinvesting a business’ revenues into improving its operations. That said, the game’s operations are heavily exaggerated; nobody is willing to pay millions for delivery pizza.
