How to Play Rice Ball Rumble

Press the green play button on the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen. Tap on a level number to start that stage.

Left click on a rice ball to select it. Tap the arrow key of the direction you want it to slide.

Basic Gameplay Advice

The goal of this game is to knock all but one rice balls off of the grid. Whenever you slide a rice ball into another it stops one square short of the rice ball it hit.

Red and white squares act as temporary stops which disappear after getting hit.

Avoid letting any of the rice balls run into a spike. You lose a stage if:

• you push any rice ball directly out of the stage without there being a collision with another rice ball
• a rice ball hits a blade

This game features 30 stages which are unlocked sequentially.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Many stages contain multiple different ways to beat them. You only need to discover a single solution to beat each stage.

Any stray piece which never touches any other pieces or the blocks guarantees a level loss. Try to move pieces from the perimeter of the puzzle inward toward the other pieces.

Pieces which are aligned with spikes have few move options, so it is best to realign them early.

If you can get all remaining pieces in a single row or column then the game is won, as you can just keep bumping one way or the other until there is only one piece left.

Sometimes you want to intentionally misalign a piece by a single cell so that when another piece knocks the rice away the new piece is properly aligned with the remaining pieces.

You can slide a piece of rice directly at a red and block square without losing the level. On some levels you will need to use all of the red and block squares, whereas on others you can have some left over.
