Spooky Dimensions is a 3D Mahjong Solitaire game. Match pairs of free identical blocks to clear them from the stack. Clear the entire stack before the timer expires to beat the level.

How to Play Spooky Dimensions

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play at the center to begin a new session. Select Continue to resume from the last level you’ve unlocked.

Select a free tile, then select another identical one to clear it from the stack. Free tiles are found on the edge corners of the stack.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Basic Rules

Clear the stack by selecting pairs of identical free tiles. The game will automatically shuffle the stack should you run out of available moves. Clear the entire stack before the timer expires. You will fail the level if you run out of time. From there, you can either try again or quit. Quitting gives you the option to save your score on the leaderboard.

Levels & Scoring

The game has 25 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You cannot replay any of the levels you’ve previously beaten without restarting the game. Each time you reload the game, you have the option to resume your previous progress by selecting Continue or start over from the beginning.

Your score is cumulative across every level you play. Each pair of blocks you clear is worth 10 points. Removing blocks in rapid succession gives you a multiplier bonus, which starts at 2x and increases with each pair you clear. The multiplier caps at 16. In addition, you also earn an extra 10 seconds for every second remaining on the timer.

You can save your score to the leaderboard upon finishing every level or after quitting the game. View the leaderboard by selecting High Scores on the welcome screen.

Power Up Blocks

Within each stack are power up blocks Depending on its size, a stack can have multiple pairs of each of these embedded with it. Every power up block has a different bonus when paired:

• Clock blocks add an extra 20 seconds to your timer.
• 2x blocks activates the multiplier.
• Star blocks give you 250 points
• Bomb blocks blow up a number of blocks on the stack.
• Lightning blocks give several blocks an X pattern, effectively giving you several opportunities to clear identical pairs.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Like regular Mahjong Solitaire, the key to clearing is to start outwards and work your way in. Look for pairs around the edges of the stack’s shape and clear these first. This will open up more and more of the tiles so you can pair them up faster. Speed up the process even more by clearing the lightning and bomb blocks once they become available.

Rotate the stack to look for the blocks you need that might be hidden behind the others.

Maximize your score by keeping the multiplier chain going for as long as you can. Try to max it out and keep it going until the end of the level to get the most points. Make sure to look carefully around the stack to look for pairs and minimize the time between each pair cleared. In addition, try to get the 2x block while you build up the multiplier chain to increase its value faster.
