Pasta Suika Game Review
Pasta Suika Game Background
Pasta Suika Game is a pasta-themed merging game that draws inspiration from the original Suika Game. Drop and merge identical pasta dishes down a shaft to form larger and larger dishes. Keep merging until you form the biggest dish available, and then some.
How to Play Pasta Suika Game
To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select anywhere to get started; this will also drop your first dish. Select anywhere to drop the dishes in that location.
Basic Gameplay Advice
Drop pasta dishes down the shaft and merge identical ones together by dropping them in close proximity to one another. Dishes move a little bit after you drop them. We recommend waiting a short time for the dishes to settle before dropping the next one to keep them from moving out of alignment. Dishes get bigger as you merge them. Keep merging until you form the largest pasta dishes. The game continues on after that, so keep playing for as long as you want.
The game only generates the first few dishes in the sequence. The rest are created via merging.
As you stack the dishes closer to the top of the screen, a dashed line appears near the topmost part. If any of the dishes cross this line, it’s game over.
You earn points based on the number of dishes you merge. The points you receive from each pair of dishes merged is dependent on its size, with the smallest dish being worth 1 point when merged. Your web browser automatically saves your best score; you can view it above the game’s title at the center of the welcome screen.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
You can see both your current and next dishes on the top center and top right corner of the screen, respectively. Use this for a bit of immediate forward planning. Don’t drop your current dish until you have a spot ready for the next dish as well.
Try to keep your arrangement as orderly as can be. At the start of the game, we recommend creating a stair-step arrangement with smaller pieces in one end and larger ones in another. This will help simplify the process of merging. As the game progresses, keep the smaller dishes from coming in between the bigger ones. Not only will this help keep them from getting in the way of merging the larger ones, it also avoids the creating of large internal voids. Voids can make the stack much higher than it needs to be.
Avoid dropping pieces haphazardly. The game is untimed and gives no bonuses for dropping the pieces quickly. This gives you ample room to plan each move you make.
Educational Aspects
The game encourages strategic and methodical thinking. Players are rewarded for trading quick, fast play with slower, well-planned moves.
Player Age Recommendations
This game is suited for players school-aged and above. We recommend it for players who like merging games such as the original Suika Game.
