Office Wrestling Royale Game Review

Office Wrestling Royale Game Background

Office Wrestling Royale is a WWF / WWE Wrestlemania inspired game where players see how long they can stay in the ring and how many enemies they can throw over the ropes.

This game was developed by MarketJS.

How to Play Office Wrestling Royale

Press the play button at the bottom center of the screen to bring up the character select screen. The game features 8 characters which are simply reskins of one another: Brad the Money Maestro, Megan the Sales Rockstar, Rick the Money Magnet, Anne the Brand Warrior, Ashly the Tech Monkey, Bob the Hackerman, Amanda the Copy Cruncher, and Collin the Big Boss.

Move the mouse around the screen to move your character. Left click to attack an adjacent enemy in the direction you are facing. When enemies are on the ground nearby attack again to throw them over the ropes in the direction you are facing.

After each game you can press the upgrade button to the right of the play button on the welcome screen, so that you can spend coins on improving your fighter’s skills.

Basic Gameplay Advice

The goal of the game is to last as long as possible, seeing how many enemies you can throw over the rope before one of them throws you over the rope. Your health bar is in the upper left. When it goes to zero you’ll get knocked down and can get thrown over the rope.

Each character has a health bar above their head. When the health is near zero the fighter falls to the ground. Clicking to attack the fighter again will have you pick up the fighter and throw them over the ropes in the direction you are facing.

If the fighter lays on the ground for a period of time without getting thrown over the ropes health can restore, allowing them to fight again.

Some fighters go to a corner and try to climb the ropes, but most fighters spend most of their time moving horizontally across the screen and attacking whoever is in front of them. You can climb the ropes by moving near them then clicking onto them to climb, clicking once again to do a diving attack off them.

Rage Mode

As you fight enemies you charge up your rage mode meter. When it is fully charged you can attack quickly and do a lot of damage to enemies.

Coins

When you throw a fighter over the rope you earn coins. Initially you get 3 coins per fighter, though the longer you last the more coins you earn per fighter, with some earning as many as 15 or 20 coins each. These coins can then be spent on the in-game upgrades store.

Upgrades

For each individual character you can upgrade the following attributes: attack, health, berserk, speed, and defense.

  • Attack: your attack strength, which costs 100, 150, 250, and 400 to upgrade.
  • Health: your number of hit points, which costs 100, 150, 250, and 400 to upgrade.
  • Berserk: how long your rapid attack lasts, which costs 75, 125, 200, and 300 to upgrade.
  • Speed: how quickly you move, which costs 75, 125, 200, and 300 to upgrade.
  • Defense: how much damage you take per hit, which costs 100, 150, 250, and 400 to upgrade.

Upgrades are done on a per-character basis, so it makes sense to fully upgrade your favorite character rather than partially upgrading many different characters. It costs 4,100 coins to fully upgrade each fighter. As you level up a character you can both earn more coins and fight longer.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

If a fighter goes up on the ropes in a corner try to move away from them toward the center of the ring so they can’t reach you. If they hit you from the ropes you not only lose health but get dazed, allowing follow on attacks. You also have the ability to climb the ropes, though it is easy to miss a diving attack.

Some characters hit periodically at a regular interval. You can try to be misaligned above or below them until they try to attack then counter attack.

Defeat many fighters while the berserk mode is active as it is a good way to make a lot of progress fast.

Educational Aspects

As a single-button clicker fighting game there is not a lot of education content in this game.

This game is fun for players of all ages.
