Happy Fishing is a simple idle tapping fishing game. Click or tap at the right time to release the line and catch fish. Watch out for the bombs.

How to Play Happy Fishing

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. Select anywhere on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen, then select anywhere on the welcome screen to bring up the loading screen.

The line moves automatically from left to right. Select anywhere onscreen to stop the line and deploy it; it will move in the direction the hook was pointing at when it stopped. If the line’s hook passes by anything (be it a fish or a bomb), it will catch it.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Catch as many fishes as you can to earn points and keep playing. Each single fish is worth 5 points, while catching 2 fishes means that one of the fishes caught is worth 10 points. Your web browser automatically saves your best score; your best score appears on the top left corner of the welcome screen.

Avoid catching the bombs; doing so is an instant game over.

You can only bring the line back empty three times. These are represented by hooks on the top left corner of the screen. If you run out of hooks, it’s game over.

Select the play button at the bottom center of the welcome screen to return to the welcome screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

The game has no time limit. You can spend as much time as you can waiting for the right moment to release the line. Take advantage of your time horizon and wait out the passing bombs.

Time your releases to where the fishes might be as they pass. This way, the fishes swim toward the line rather than past it and are guaranteed to be caught. Try to look of pairs or groups of fishes that travel in a diagonal pattern. Releasing at the right time will allow you to capture several of them at once.
