Chinese Suika Game Review
Chinese Suika Game Background
Chinese Suika Game is a food-themed merging game inspired by the original Suika Game. Drop Chinese dishes down the shaft and merge identical dishes together to form bigger ones. Keep merging dishes until you form the largest one.
How to Play Chinese Suika Game
To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. Select anywhere on the welcome screen to start playing. The first dish will fall the moment you get started.
Select any location onscreen to drop the dish there. Drop a dish next to an identical one to merge them together. Keep merging dishes until you form the largest one. The game continues on afterward and ends only when the stack reaches the dashed line that appears on the top of the shaft.
You earn points as you merge. The number of points you earn depend on the value of the dishes you merge. Merging the smallest dishes give you 1 point, merging the next smallest 2 points, and so on. Your web browser automatically saves your best score; this appears above the game’s title on the welcome screen.
Basic Gameplay Advice
The game allows you to see both the current dish and the next dish. Have a place for both the current and next dishes before dropping them.
Try to keep the dishes organized as you play. Keep the small dishes away from the big ones as much as possible. Smaller dishes that come between bigger ones not only keep the latter from merging. They can create large voids within the stack that can make it much higher than it needs to be, threatening you with a premature game over.
After dropping the dishes, they move around for a bit. Wait until they settle before dropping the next one. Doing so helps ensure that the dishes you drop fall exactly where you intend them to go. You can also take advantage of this by dropping dishes in such a way that it pushes others much closer together, which can help merge a pair that had otherwise not been close enough to merge by themselves.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Organization is the key to getting the biggest dish in the most efficient way possible. We recommend arranging the dishes in a neat stair-step arrangement (smallest to biggest, preferably from left to right) to make it easier to merge the dishes together. This has the added advantage of giving you a place to put smaller dishes so they don’t get in the way of the bigger ones.
The game only generates the first few dishes in the sequence; many of them will be small. In the event that you don’t have a spot for them, consider tossing them to one side to at least keep them well away from the bigger ones.
The game is not timed and has no speed bonuses. Take all the time you need and plan where you drop the next dish with care.
Educational Aspects
The game teaches players patience and strategic thinking. Players get better results from taking things slow and planning each of their moves with care. The game also features both Chinese and Chinese diaspora dishes, but does not label them.
Player Age Recommendations
This game is suited for players school-aged and above.
