Candy Suika Game Review
Candy Suika Game Background
Candy Suika Game is a simple merging game inspired by the original Suika Game. Drop the candies down the shaft and merge identical pairs of candies to produce larger ones. Keep dropping and merging candies until you create the largest one.
How to Play Candy Suika Game
To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers.
The game is automatically playable from the welcome screen; selecting anywhere automatically drops the first candy down the shaft. To drop the candy, select anywhere on the shaft. The candy drops in the direction your mouse cursor or fingers were pointing at.
Basic Gameplay Advice
Each time a pair of identical candies touch, they merge together to form a larger piece of candy. Repeat the process until you form the largest possible piece of candy.
The piece of candy you’re about to drop appears on the top center and follows your cursor or fingers. The next piece of candy you’ll drop appears on the top right corner. Use this to your advantage. Make sure you have a place for both pieces before dropping the first of the candies.
The candies move a bit after you drop them, especially if they hit each other. We advise you to wait until they finish moving before dropping another. This will not only reduce the likelihood of the candies being rolled out of place but also allow the candies to form pairs by themselves.
You earn points each time you merge a pair of candies. You get 1 point from merging the smallest candies, and so on. The higher the value of the candies you merge, the more points you get from them. Your web browser automatically saves your best score. Your best score appears near the welcome screen.
As you go higher, a line appears on the topmost part of the shaft. If a piece of candy gets past this line, it’s game over. Make sure to keep your stack of candies as low as you can make it.
Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy
Try to keep the candies as orderly as possible. Keep the smaller pieces of candy away from the larger pieces whenever you can to avoid them getting in the way of two that are about to merge. Orderly placement can also prevent the formation of large voids, which can make a stack of candies appear even higher and put you at risk of a premature game over.
We recommend a linear “stair-step” arrangement with smaller candies on one end (e.g. to the left) and bigger ones on the other side.
Use movement to your advantage. Consider dropping a piece of candy to nudge the other pieces if you think it will cause some of them to merge.
Play with patience. The game is not timed and you receive no benefits from merging quickly. Plan each move carefully and drop candies only when you’re absolutely sure that they’re in the desired position.
Educational Aspects
This game encourages players to think strategically and methodically without the pressure of a time limit.
