Spanish Suika Game Review

Spanish Suika Game Background

Spanish Suika Game is a merging game themed after the cuisine of Spain and inspired by the original Suika Game. Drop Spanish dishes down the shaft and merge identical dishes to form larger ones. Repeat the process until you form the biggest dish in the game.

How to Play Spanish Suika Game

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the screen with your fingers. Select anywhere on the screen begin; this will also drop the first dish down the shaft. Select anywhere to drop the dish.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Drop dishes down the shaft. The dishes will move for a bit before settling down. Drop identical dishes next to one another to merge them together. Keep dropping and merging dishes until you form the biggest dish, then keep merging after that.

As the stack of dishes goes higher, a dashed line appears at the top of the shaft. If the stack moves past this line, the game ends.

You earn points based on the size and value of each pair of dishes merged. The smallest dish is worth 1 point when merged, for instance. Your web browser saves your best score automatically. Your best score appears above the game’s title at the center of the welcome screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Keep your arrangement as organized as possible. One strategy we recommend is a stair-step arrangement, with lower-value dishes on one end and higher value ones on the other. Try to keep the smaller dishes from coming in between the bigger ones. Not only will this keep the bigger ones from merging, it will also cause the formation of voids, which will make the stack even higher.

Forward planning matters. You can see both the current dish (at the center) and the next one (at the top right corner). Have a spot for both of these before you drop the first one.

Don’t just drop the pieces willy-nilly. Take all the time you need. You don’t receive a time bonus for dropping the pieces quickly. Use the time horizon to carefully judge the placement of all the pieces before you drop them.

Educational Aspects

The game favors slow, methodical play. To earn a high score and get the biggest dish, you must carefully plan the placement of each dish. This game also illustrates various Spanish dishes, but does not label them.

Player Age Recommendations

This game is suited for players school-aged and above. We recommend this game for fans of the original Suika game and other merging games like it.
