Neonjong 3D Game Background

Neonjong 3D is an isomeric neon-themed 3D Mahjong Solitaire game. Your goal is to clear the entire stack of blocks by pairing identical free tiles. Finish clearing the stack before the timer expires.

How to Play Neonjong 3D

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play to load the level selection screen. Choose an unlocked level’s number to begin.

Select one free block, then select another identical one to clear it. A free block needs to have no block covering it and have one side (left or right) free of adjacent blocks. Select the hint or shuffle buttons to use a button.

Select the arrows to the bottom left and right of the stack to rotate it.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Basic Rules

Your goal is to clear the entire stack of neon-colored blocks from the screen. Pair identical free blocks to clear them. Finish off the entire stack as quickly as you can; if the timer expires before you do, it’s game over.

The stack itself is fully rendered in 3D. Select the pedestal and rotate it to view more of it. Each selected cube appears on the upper left side of the screen to help you keep track of it. Cubes can remain selected even if they are obscured by the other blocks in the stack.

Levels

The game has 40 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. You can replay any of the levels you’ve already beaten by selecting its number on the level selection screen. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress.

Each level has a unique layout and time limit to it, and can go up or down as the game progresses. Levels also have a unique score. Every level’s best score appears below its icon on the level selection screen.

Scoring

Every pair of blocks you clear is worth 100 points. In addition, you also receive an extra 30 points for every second remaining on the clock.

The game has two scores, a level score and a total score. The total score is the sum of every level score you’ve earned. Replaying a level will only change your total score if your new score is higher than the previous one. The difference between your latest and previous level scores will be added to your total.

You can save your score on the leaderboard if you end with a game over or if you finish the entire game.

Assistance

If you’re ever stuck, you have two available assistance options to help you for a price:

• Hints show you a random pair of identical blocks anywhere on the stack.
• Shuffles will change the position of every block on the stack.

Select their respective buttons to use them. These will cost you points, so use them sparingly. Hints cost 150 points each time they’re used, while shuffles cost 500 points.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

As an opening move, see if you can match the outer corner blocks from the wider rows early. This will help open up the stack and make it easier to see potential matches. However, this may still not be enough to see everything clearly. Rather than sticking to one side, rotate the board as needed to see more of the stack.

Whenever you see two identical blocks next to each other, pair off one of them as soon as you can to free up the other one.
