How to Play Sweety Mahjong

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play at the bottom right side to pick out a stack. Choose from the six available stack orientations to begin. Players can select Classic, Monument, Pyramids, Arena, Four, and The Wall.

Select one tile, then select another free identical tile to clear them from the screen. A free tile is one with one without a tile above it and at least one horizontal side free of a tile.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Your goal is to clear the entire stack of tiles by one pair of identical tiles at a time. Tiles you selected have a yellow border on them. If you select a valid pair, they will disappear. Otherwise, the tile you started with will be deselected. Clear as many tiles as you can, preferably until the entire stack is cleared.

The number of available pairs you can make appears on the top right corner of the game screen. Unlike other Mahjong Solitaire games, however, the game does not automatically shuffle the stack when you run out of possible pairs. If you choose the shuffle option on either the top right corner or the game over screen, you will essentially restart the game with a different tile arrangement. And unlike our other Mahjong Solitaire games, this one does not consider it a win if your last pair of tiles are one of top of the other.

If you’re having trouble looking for a valid pair to clear, select Hint on the top left corner of the screen. If you feel that you’ve made a misstep and want to replay the same stack arrangement, select Restart.

Your earn between 86 and 95 points for every pair you clear and receive bonus based on how quickly you find and clear another pair. The bonus timer begins after you clear a pair and continues for a few seconds (10 at the start). You can add to this chain for as long as you can, increasing the bonus you receive.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Your goal through most of the game is to open up as much of the stack as you can. Select the pairs in the edges of the stack and those that are on top of others. We recommend drawing tiles from the left and right edges of the stack and pairing them from those in the middle or top.

The game has no timer. If you take it slow, you can find a more optimal sequence of removals albeit at the cost of a few bonus points.
