How to Play Popcorn Time

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button at the center of the screen to open the level selection screen. On the levels election screen, select an unlocked level’s number to begin.

To pour out the popcorn, select and hold for as long as necessary. Release to stop the flow of popcorn.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Fill the container with popcorn up to the dashed line close to the brim. When the popcorn reaches the brim’s level, each of the individual dashes turns green. Once every dash is green, the game starts the timer. You will win the level if the timer ends with no significant overflow.

Try not to spill any of the popcorn pieces. You begin each level with 3 lives, represented by hearts at the top center of the game screen. Each piece that falls off costs you a life. You will fail the level if you lose all your lives.

The game has 40 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. Your web browser automatically saves your game progress. You can replay any of the levels you’ve previously beaten.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Ideally, you should fill up each container slowly and gently. Instead of pouring popcorn continuously, fill the container using short bursts that are spaced adequately apart. Allow time between each burst to let the kernels settle down and minimize the movement at the very top of the container.
