How to Play Yellow Lines

Press the yellow triangle at the bottom of the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.

Tap on the play button on the welcome screen to start playing.

You do not control your shot force, only the angle. Press the mouse left click button in and drag the mouse to aim your shot, releasing the left click button at the correct time.

Basic Gameplay Advice

This game features 27 stages which are unlocked sequentially. You beat a stage by destroying all of the yellow lines on it, through hitting them with the ball. Each yellow platform breaks and bounces the ball back as soon as the ball touches it.

Some stages have gray platforms as well as yellow platforms. The gray platforms do not break and you can bounce the ball off them repeatedly.

Some stages have moving or rotating platforms which you either must time your shots around hitting them or avoiding them.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

If you are struggling with a particular stage you can use the output of one try to inform your next. If a shot misses a third or fourth platform after multiple ricochets you can slightly adjust your aim and try the same shot again. If your shot is way off and does not seem workable try shooting at a different platform and/or using a significantly different angle.

If one side has more platforms on it than the other you typically have to shoot at that side first.

Decide early in the stage if you want to hit or miss any moving gray platforms on it and then time your shots and set your aim around that goal.
