How to Play Wreck The Tower

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.

On a desktop, shoot at the tower by pressing the space bar on your keyboard or left clicking with your mouse. Press the enter key to shoot or tap on the button at the bottom center to use the special shot. On a touchscreen, tap anywhere on the screen to fire ordinary shots. Tap on the button at the bottom center to fire the special shot.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Your job is to shoot at the towers. Fire at the towers while the rotating barriers are away to shoot them down. Clear out the entire tower to win and clear the level. If you hit any of the barriers, the shot will ricochet back at you, ending the game.

Levels are unlocked sequentially and consist of a single tower. Each time you restart the game, you begin in the first level.

As you shoot, you charge the special shot button on the bottom center. Special shots can take out several pieces that make up the tower at once. They can also take out a single barrier piece.

Your score is based on the number of tower pieces you shoot. Your web browser automatically saves your best score. The game over screen shows your latest score and indicates whenever you beat your previous best.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Shoot in bursts to avoid the barriers. The length of your bursts depend on the number of barriers orbiting the tower. In later levels, where you must contend with more barriers, your bursts must be short.

Don’t be afraid to use the specials on the barrier parts. Sometimes, the best way to clear a level when there are several barriers orbiting at once is to thin it out.
