Virtu Piano Game Background

Virtu Piano is a simulated electric piano with 40 sound presets and 25 keys. Its versatile features allow players to practice and play with relative ease.

How to Play Virtu Piano

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the screen with your fingers. Select the keys of the piano to play them. Desktop players can also assign keyboard keys to each key on the piano.

Although the game can be played on desktops, laptops, and touchscreen devices, its full suite of features can only be utilized fully when on a desktop.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Essentials

The piano has 25 whole note (white) keys and 15 sharp and flat (black) keys. To play these keys, you can click or tap on them as you would with a physical piano. Most of its controls are located above the keys in the top row. By default, the key letters are visible. You can toggle the key letters by selecting the Show Letter check box near the top center.

You can change the piano’s volume using the plus or minus buttons above the piano’s volume meter on the top left. Although the piano only has 40 keys, you can expand its note range by selecting the plus or minus options under Octave. By default, the octave setting is at the middle. Select -1 to pick a lower octave and select +1 to choose a higher octave. The octave setting square’s will appear green when selected.

Near the Show Letter Box to the top right of the key board is the Color Style control. This will let you change the aesthetic appearance of the keyboard. Select a number to pick that style. There are 4 to choose from.

Recording

The red record button is shown on the right side of the Show Letter button near the top center. By default, it is off. To begin recording, select the record button and start playing. There will be a 3-second countdown before the game starts recording your music. The record button will turn green during the duration of the session. A timer indicates how long your recording has been running. To finish, select the record button again.

Once you’re finished, your device will automatically download the recording you made as a WebM file, which you can play on audio player programs such as Windows Media Player, VLC 2, and iTunes.

The recording feature is, sadly, exclusive to desktops and laptops, We do not recommend using it when on a touchscreen device.

This digital piano has many, many features. It pays to experiment with everything to find out what it offers. This is especially important for novice composers; exploring the game’s 40 presets can help you find the right sound for a new song you’re working on.

If you’re playing on a desktop or other device with a keyboard, assign unique keyboard keys to each of the keys on the piano. This will provide you with a smoother playing experience. For touchscreen users, size impacts the playing experience. We recommend playing this game with a tablet to make it easier for your fingers to tap the keys.

Once you’ve downloaded your composition, you can refine your songs further my mixing it with other music files and vocals using an audio editor.
