This game is an advanced and creative variation of a blend between nonograms and minesweeper games, You must use the numbers along the edge to get a mouse safely to the cheese.

How to Play Trapsweeper Puzzle

Press the white START at the bottom of the welcome screen. Your first play through shows a tutorial.

Use the WASD keys or the arrow keys to move the mouse around the puzzles.

Tap your mouse on squares where you are sure there is a trap to flag the traps.

Basic Gameplay Advice

The goal is to get the mouse safely to the cheese without running into a mouse trap. Use the numbers along the edge of the puzzle to figure out where the traps are. Some stages also have numbers on internal squares, which indicate nearby mousetraps and can’t be walked on.

Tiles you have not walked on are blue, and they turn green after you safely walk on them. You can not pass through the red and white candy cane striped walls.

Stages

This game features 30 stages which are unlocked sequentially. If you hit a mouse trap you lose the stage and have to replay it. Lose a stage 3 times and you go back to the prior stage. Make it safely to the cheese to advance to the next level.

Special Tiles

• Red single arrow: hops over the next cell and puts you 2 cells ahead in the direction the arrow is pointing. You can use the red single arrows multiple times. If there is only one cell beyond the red single arrow cell it will land you on that adjacent cell rather than wrapping you around the board or throwing you off grid.
• Yellow double arrows: slides all tiles in that row or column one cell forward, with the tiles wrapping. The yellow double arrow can only be used once and turns black after it has been used.
• Triple blue arrows: slides the entire puzzle in the direction the arrows point. The blue triple arrow can only be used once and turns black after it has been used.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

The order you hit blue triple arrows in matters. If you touch the closest one on level 26 before touching the one further away you won’t be able to beat the puzzle. A few other later puzzles are similar in this regard.

Each time you make a move you might create a process of elimination which dictates where another mousetrap is. Be sure to flag known trap locations as you play. Each time you play a particular stage the traps remain in the same location they were on the prior trip, so you can use your play experience from prior attempts to mark some traps.
