How to Play Tower of Colors Island Edition

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. Select Play on the bottom center of the welcome screen to begin.

Select anywhere onscreen to shoot a block in that direction. Select, hold, and swipe left or right to rotate the game screen.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Basic Rules

Bring the tower of blocks down by shooting colored balls of them. The balls you launch must match the color of the blocks you shoot at to take them out. If you launch a block onto a group of blocks of a different color, it will bounce off without causing any damage. Only the highlighted portions of the tower can be shot at.

Whittle down the tower to below the checkered circle to finish the level. You can track your level progress on the green bar on the top center of the game screen.

You only have a limited number of shots. The remaining number of shots you have appear on the ball itself. If you run out of shots, you will fail the level and must try again. If you run out of pieces, a countdown begins. You will still win if the remaining pieces somehow fall down before the end of the timer.

Meteors

As you shoot, you slowly charge the Meteor Meter located on below the Level Progress Meter on the bottom center of the screen. Once this meter is fully charged, it replaces your ball with that of a large meteor. Use the meteor to hit the tower and knock down a significant portion of it.

Scoring

Every block you knock down is worth 1 point. Knocking several blocks at once will grant you extra points. Your score is cumulative across your playthrough. Your score for one level is added to your total for as you keep beating levels. The game stops adding to your total score when you fail a level.

Power Ups & Rewards

You earn coins after knocking down the entire tower. Use the coins you earn to buy power ups in-game. You can buy the power ups using their respective buttons on the bottom right corner of the game screen.

The game has 2 power ups:

• The rainbow balls (50 coins) allow you to hit multiple balls of different colors at once.
• The beams (100 coins) clear an entire row of balls, destabilizing the ones above them.

Reloading the game for more than one consecutive day grants you rewards. You receive rewards every day you play for up to 4 days. You receive a different reward each day.

• 50 points on the first day
• 3 free rainbow balls on the second day
• 3 beams on the third day
• 100 coins on the fourth day

The rewards you receive are available from the gift button on the bottom center left of the welcome screen.

Levels

The game has more than 5,000 levels to play. Although you can replay any of the levels you’ve previously beaten, in practice you do not need to. The game automatically loads the next level after you finish the previous one. Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

The level selection screen becomes available after you reload the game once you’ve beaten the first level.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

Clearing out the tower effectively is a matter of looking for groups of blocks that support the ones on top of it. Rotate the tower and look for places you can shoot the ball where it can cause a lot of damage. If no such place exists, choose the next best thing: a group of matching blocks close to the bottom. Taking these out will still contribute to the destabilization of the ones on top.

When the tower starts to crumble, wait a little before making another shot. You might find that you won’t need to take out a set of blocks if the blocks just fall by themselves.

Running low on shots close to the end can be very tricky, as the game may not always generate balls of the color you need. Use the power ups to help clear the last bits of the tower when you are running out of balls.
