How to Play Touchdown Pro

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the running back at the center of the screen to begin.

Your player character automatically starts running. To move from side to side, select and move your cursor or fingers and swipe left or right. Swipe up and down to run forward and backward. To slow down, release your click or tap.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Basic Rules

Your goal is to avoid getting tackled as possible while scoring touchdowns. To score a touchdown, you must run a specific distance. Every time you score a touchdown, the field changes color and the crowd will applaud, though you will still continue running.

Avoid the incoming opposing players. If they tackle you, it’s game over. Larger players walk slower than smaller players and are easier to evade.

Each touchdown you score is worth 1 point.

Unlocking characters

You can unlock players by either earning several points at once or earn a total number of points over the course of several sessions. There are 5 available players, 4 of which need to be unlocked:

• Jeremy Bettings: 5 touchdowns at once or 25 cumulative touchdowns
• Big Ben: 10 touchdowns at once or 50 cumulative touchdowns
• Mikael Stronghat: 15 touchdowns at once or 75 cumulative touchdowns
• Boy Newest: 25 touchdowns at once or 150 cumulative touchdowns

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

As much as possible, stick to the bottom of the field and favoring one side of the screen over the other. This not only gives you more time to respond to approaching players but also two clear paths out: the wide side of the field and the sideline of the narrow path, moving upward).

You can slow the game down by deselecting. Use this with caution, however, as you can easily throw off your rhythm and timing.

Moving across the screen fast will activate your spin move. You can also activate this via The spin move enables you to evade more effectively. Because you cannot run out of bounds in this game, you can move from side to side rather forcibly.
