How to Play The Sorcerer

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. On the welcome screen, select the play button to start a new session. This appears at the center if you’re playing for the first time or on the left if you’ve played the game before. You can also select the double play button on the right to resume a previous session. Both will take you to the level selection screen. From there, select an unlocked level’s number to begin.

Select anywhere onscreen to shoot. Your shot will move in the direction you clicked or tapped.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Shoot balls at the oncoming chain of balls in the track. Form groups of 3 or more of the same color to clear them from the chain. Clear the entire chain of ball as quickly as you can to keep it from falling into the drain at the end of the track.

The wizard holds two balls in his hands. The large ball on the left is what he’ll throw into the chain while the other is the next one he’ll throw.

The game has 13 levels, which are unlocked sequentially. Your web browser automatically saves your level progress. As the game progresses, the tracks become more complex and the ball chain moves faster.

You earn 50 points for every ball cleared, or a minimum of 1 ball per chain. You also earn 100 points for every segment of the track the chain never reaches. Your score is cumulative across every level you’ve played.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

While splitting the chain causes the front end to stop moving, it’s often better to shoot balls at the front of the chain rather than at the back. The chain will not stop moving regardless of where you shoot, and even cutting it will only stop the front part for a little while.

Aim carefully when shooting at a corner. You could place balls at the wrong spot if you do.

Feel free to toss balls you can’t easily use. As long as there’s a clear part of the screen, you can easily toss the parts you don’t need away without hitting anything.
