The Attack of the Dead is a zombie shooting horror survival game. The zombie horde is relentless and will eventually catch up to you; take as many of them with you as possible.

How to Play The Attack of the Dead

To select, left click with your mouse or tap on the touchscreen with your fingers. Select Start near the bottom right corner of the welcome screen to begin.

Select anywhere on the screen to shoot. On a desktop, you can use the following keys on your keyboard to operate the game’s controls:

• Press the M key to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
• Press the R key to quit the game and return to the welcome screen..
• Press the Esc key to exit full screen mode.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Begin each game by choosing a level. There are 3 to choose from. Once you’ve selected a level, the game automatically goes into full screen mode.

Your goal is to survive for as long as possible. Shoot at the advancing horde of zombies and take out as many of them as you can. Look around for the zombies once the game starts. Zombies take a few hits to take down from body shots but go down instantly with head shots.

You begin the game with 20 standard bullets. You automatically reload when you run out of bullets, which can take some time.

Shooting at falling boxes will grant you access to special weapons, which also have limited ammo. Once they run out, you automatically revert to your previous weapon. Acquiring a special weapon also involves the same delay as reloading. Weapons can vary in efficiency. Sniper rifles and shotguns have slower reload times. Meanwhile, combat rifles can let you shoot large numbers of zombies quickly.

Once the zombies come close enough to you, it’s game over.

You earn about 1,200 points for every zombie you take out. Your final score appears on the game over screen.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

While you are reloading, you have no means of protecting yourself. Focus on headshots to save on bullets. When you’re about to run out of bullets, shoot faster to clear out the zombies in front of you. This will buy you more time to reload.

Never miss a pack. The upgrades these give you, while temporary, will give you a decisive advantage against the looming zombie horde.

This game is suited for older school-aged players and above. Although it features no adult content, it does contain disturbing visuals and sounds that may scare younger children. We recommend it for players who like zombie shooting games.
