Tangram Grid is a shape building game where players are given a set number of triangle pieces and other geometric shapes to place into play to build a larger and more complex shape.

How to Play Tangram Grid

Press the play button on the right side of the welcome screen to bring up a tutorial and then the first puzzle.

Tap the mouse left click button when your mouse is over a shape to rotate it clockwise 90 degrees. Shapes can be turned an unlimited number of times.

Left click on a shape and hold in the left click and drag it into position in the grid. When pieces are in position you can pull them back off the puzzle and later reset them in a new position.

Basic Gameplay Advice

Each shape can have multiple different solutions, though any solution you use must get all of the colored pieces inside the grid without having any of them overlap each other or spill out over the outer border of the puzzle.

If pieces overlap one another they turn gray, forcing you to move one of the pieces in order to complete the puzzle.

The game has 40 puzzles which are unlocked sequentially. Each puzzle has around 7 pieces which must be played.

Advanced Playing Tips & Strategy

If you are having trouble figuring out the puzzles try to play some of the bigger puzzle pieces first and vary the positions they are in, then fill around.

Some spots where there are internal walls in the shape give clues to which pieces must be located nearby.

This game is fun for players who like Tangram games. Players who are below third grade may find the game challenging, though most other players should find the game quite enjoyable.
